More success
for Carol
Carol McCuaig (AKA Catriona McCuaig) was
featured in Members’ News in December when she had
her book Windsong published as part of a three book deal
with Robert Hale.
She has now also seen her second book in the series Sand
Against the Wind released, and has had the third, Reap the
Whirlwind, accepted for publication in October. This will
mean she’ll have had three hardback novels published
within a twelve month period.
Together the books form the Cwmbran Trilogy which is set
in the fictional Cwmbran community in Wales and follows
the Richard and Morgan families through two world wars.
Reap the Whirlwind begins in 1945 at the end of the Second
World War and life will never be the same at Cymbrian house
for Ellen Morgan.
In other news, her short story Cherry Stones has been accepted
for publication as a My Weekly Pocket Novel. This is the
ninth of her stories to be published in the series. It looks
like 2008 is set to be a good year as well.
Details: Sand Against the Wind, by Catriona McCuaig (£18.99,
Robert Hale) is available now. |
